Tom Cushing
President

Tom has more than 30 years of in-depth experience in mainframe technology and managing high technology start-up companies. He has domestic and international experience as a consultant, educator and software developer. Following senior level IT positions at The Travelers, State Mutual Insurance and Southern New England Telephone, Tom then created and led several high technology start-up companies, including Tri-Star, Inc. (partner), Advanced Computer Services, Inc. (president) and Software Technologies and Research (principal). Client companies include AT&T, UPS, GE Capital, Aetna, Cigna, Bear Stearns and The Federal Reserve.

Tom has a B. A. in International Studies from Providence College and has done graduate studies at the University of Connecticut and Yale University in music and languages.


Ray Venoski
VP Research and Development

Ray’s career includes over 35 years of application software development and management consulting, as well as founding and managing two software firms. Ray was founder and President of WindTunnel Software, Inc., a start-up technology company, which built and marketed an application performance modeling software tool called Performance Architek (sold to Bachman in 1994). In his former role of Vice President of Client Engineering for Campbell Software, Inc., a company that developed specialized personnel work scheduling software, Ray was responsible for all product development and quality assurance. Ray also has significant industry experience in the Systems Consulting practices of Peat Marwick (now KPMG) and Arthur Young, and in these roles he was responsible for selling and managing systems development projects.

Ray has a B. S. in Mathematics from Western Illinois University, an M. S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, an M. B. A. in Finance from the University of Illinois, and he has done graduate work at the London School of Economics.


Joe Gulla
VP Enterprise Solutions

Joe has more that 35 years experience in computer technology as a COBOL and BAL programmer, MVS system programmer and CICS application and system programmer. While working at IBM, he taught MVS, JES2, SMP/E, CICS, JCL and NetView; led a team that developed AOC/MVS and its features; led a team that specialized in Tivoli implementation services; and developed offerings for IBM Managed and Application Hosting, Remote Managed Infrastructure Services and IBM Tivoli Live. Joe also helped to launch IBM SmartCloud Enterprise+. Since leaving IBM, he has been working with PathPoint and writing frequently for MSP Tech Media. His articles and blog can be found here —
